Delivery

All deliveries are made between 9 a.m. and 5.30 p.m., Monday through Friday. The delivery date will be communicated to you via email in advance. Unless otherwise specified, the standard delivery period is five to ten working days after receipt of complete payment. Because all of the Company's trucks operate on a multi-drop schedule, it is impossible to provide an accurate delivery time. We may typically notify the customer in advance of the day's delivery and whether it will take place in the morning or afternoon.

The Seller maintains the right to refuse delivery of certain orders to specific areas, in which case the buyer must arrange for collection from the Seller's warehouse.

Standard delivery for the Company is delivery to business addresses by a single individual, unless DFC and the Company have otherwise agreed in writing. Unless otherwise specified and the surcharge has been paid, all deliveries to the entrance of the front door on the ground floor are standard and will be delivered by one individual. Unaccompanied drivers may necessitate assistance with offloading; if this is not the case, please inquire about our enhanced delivery service at the time of order placement.

For an additional service charge, we can also deliver to a residential address or a third party (i.e., the purchaser's client) in addition to the standard delivery cost of the order. It is mandatory for a minimum of one trade customer representative to be present at the delivery address when the package is being delivered to a residential location or a third party. Alternatively, with advance notice, commercial clients may arrange for collection at our warehouse.

It is mandatory for the customer to sign for and have their name inscribed on all deliveries before the driver. The actual quantity of cartons unloaded shall be documented in writing and countersigned by the Customer on the delivery note, should the quantity unloaded fall short of or surpass the quantity specified in the note. In the event that no one is present to accept the delivery, the merchandise will be reclaimed by the organisation and the consumer will incur an additional fee for re-delivery.

Trade consumers are obligated to inspect specific items in the presence of the driver during the delivery process. The vendor will provide advance notice of this via email. It is the responsibility of the customer to arrange for a representative to inspect these items in such situations. Neglecting to inspect these items may lead to the nullification of any claims for damages.

Please keep in mind that our insurance only protects us for delivering the goods to your front door and does not cover moving objects inside your home. As a result, the Seller is not responsible for any damage caused by drivers transporting stock into the Customer's premises. The motorist must stay with their vehicle and not leave it unattended.

Collection

We are pleased for our customers to organise collection from our warehouse in Bishop's Stortford, Hertfordshire, UK. Any collection must be scheduled at least 48 hours in advance via email.We will confirm the collection via email based on our warehouse's availability. There are no discounts available for consumers who wish to organise their own collection. We require that items be inspected at the point of collection whether they are collected by a customer or by third-party carriers. We assume no responsibility for product loss or damage after it has been collected from us.

If you want to reschedule or cancel the collection date, please give us at least 24 hours' notice. Cancellations or changes to collections made within 24 hours of scheduled bookings may result in a fee.

The charge scale for failed collection after 24 hours has been indicated below. The fees do not include any prospective administration expenses; they just cover labour and backlog management.

When a product is available for delivery, we will inform the client and agree a delivery / collection time. Carriage is an additional charge and non-refundable.

Storage

We can keep your order in stock in our warehouse for up to 30 days from the date of the Sales Order. Storage will be charged at £50 plus VAT per week per item.

Items that have been customised will not be refunded in accordance with our cancellation policy for custom orders.
